who said you can't have your cake and eat it, too?

cake is an independent collectiveof performers, disruptors, creatives, and absurdist hearts.

What we lack in website design, we make up for in world-class variety entertainment. Scattered across Australia are our boldest, absurdist hearts who've banded together in a new collective for making excellent, outrageous art.

“not a single dud” – adelaide adventurer (SA)

Serving world-class circus, burlesque, and outrageous queer chaos, CAKE is set to be the messiest party since the Revolution – and you’re invited. We're overthrowing the power and reclaiming the stage in variety, riotous joy. CAKE is the hot new revolt set to reimagine clowns as the ruling class. It’s our party now – and the dress code is optional.

RSVP to raucous festivities hosted by Australia’s most in-demand performance exports in our Nigella Lawson-meets-Club Kid frosted fever dream. From the revered stages of La Clique, Ru Paul's Drag Race, Briefs Factory, Reuben Kaye, Blunderland, Circus Oz, House of Yes (NYC), and Miss Burlesque Australia, our indulgent award-winning talent are here to tantalise, scandalise and unionise.
